Why do I have to schedule a Discovery Call before signing up?
Unlike a webinar or other classes that you can sign up for online, the Consulting With Confidence workshop is intended to be an specifically designed for entrepreneurial HR professionals. The most successful sessions of this workshop have been with participants who are in similar places with their respective consulting businesses working together to help each other move their goals forward. The purpose of the Discovery Call is to a) determine whether the workshop is a good fit for you and you are a good fit for the workshop, and b) introduce a prospective client protocol that we build upon during the workshop weekend.
How many attendees will be in the workshop?
The average session is limited to no more than 10 participants. A smaller group gives everyone the chance to receive individual feedback and participate at a level that will help them be successful in achieve the workshop goals.
Is the session recorded?
No. Because of the nature of the conversation, participants may be sharing sensitive or proprietary information. The goal is to create an environment where participants can feel safe being vulnerable and recording the session may prevent them from feeling comfortable discussing certain topics, such as fees or business plans.
Why is the cost of the workshop not published?
Workshop fees are discussed during the Discovery Call - exactly how many professional consultants discuss their fees with a prospective client. While this may not be the most helpful answer, participants who have completed the workshop have been extremely satisfied with the value they received.

Kara D. Kelley, SPHR, SHRM-SCP is the founder & CEO of Clinical HR LLC.
After 8 years of putting her B.S. in Business to use managing the HR, strategic planning, marketing, web mastering, internal operations, and business development functions for a CPA firm (yes, she wore all of those hats), Kara established her independent consulting firm niched to the dental profession. She has 10+ years of experience educating clients on the topics of strategic business planning, HR compliance, leadership, tax and accounting, and marketing.
During her first 8 months as an independent consultant, Kara signed 12 clients and established herself as a Key Opinion Leader in her field. She more than doubled her client list and nearly tripled her firm's revenue in her second year of business and is projecting additional growth in 2022.
